Steve Shanabruch
Born and raised in Chicago’s Beverly neighborhood, Steve is an illustrator and designer that now lives in Portage Park. His self-initiated “Chicago Neighborhoods Project” started in 2011 and includes over 100 neighborhood logos and nearly 50 Neighborhood Tourism prints. His love for all things Chicago and design has lead to creating work for Old Style Beer, the Chicago Fire (MLS), the Chicago Athletic Association hotel and many other Chicago-centric clients.
For the month of April, Steve’s works will be on display at Eris’s mezzanine level. Framed pieces are $60 a piece.
Alchemy
We're planning to do a pop up show at the new Howling Pages bookstore in Portage Park beginning April 23rd (with an opening planned for that evening.) Since Howling Pages is a graphic novel and independent comics shop, we'd like to build the show around the idea that comics are Word + Pictures. Want to know more about Howling Pages? Check out this article!
Krampus My Style
Our third pop up show Krampus My Style will be at the Twisted Hippo Brewing in Albany Park! Artists to be announced at a later time, but you can go ahead and save the date now.
Xmas Block Party XBP @ PRB
The Seventh Corner Gallery will have a tent up at Printers Row Brewing’s Xmas Block Party! PRB will be bringing in live bands, food trucks, arts and crafts for the kids. The Seventh Corner Gallery will be bringing art prints, teasing our upcoming Krampus My Style show (Dec 16th) and if we’re ambitious enough, bringing a custom made Krampus photo stand.
Incognito
Join us on October 16th (4-9pm) for our second pop-up show Incognito at the Irish American Heritage Center. Eleven Chicago artists have submitted pieces:
Jeffrey Brooks
Jeremy Tinder
Corinne Halbert
Paola Seeley
Isamar Medina
Darick Maasen
Mitch O’Connell
Blake Jones
Mel Villareal
Matt Allison
Bird Milk
In keeping with the theme of the show and the state mandate, masks are required inside the gallery. The gallery is on the second floor of the Irish American Heritage Center, and drinks and food is available at the pub on the first floor of the IAHC.
Paola Seeley at Eris
Paola is a native of Honduras, and has been in living in Chicago for almost two decades. She is a painter whose primary focus is the human figure, especially women. Her work explores the sensual organic curves of the body, and contrasts them with other organic forms. She works in acrylic on canvas, and wood.

Intersections Pop Up Show at IAHC
The Seventh Corner Gallery’s first pop up “Intersections” will take place at the Irish American Heritage Center.
Featured Artist: Corinne Halbert
Corinne Halbert
The Seventh Corner Gallery curated the mezzanine walls of Eris Brewery & Cider House with the art of Corinne Halbert. She's a painter, illustrator and cartoonist who specializes in erotic horror and horror comics. Halbert has self-published six issues of Hate Baby comics since 2010 and has contributed comic strips to Black Eye and Magic Whistle. When she isn’t rendering body cavities real and/or imagined with her signature psychedelic aplomb, Halbert peddles zines, comics, and other incendiary literature at Chicago’s revered Quimby’s Bookstore. Purchase Corinne’s paintings, zines and other artworks here.
